MAXISTOP Premium AA MAXISTOP AA is a heavier duty rigid moulded friction material, dark grey in colour with a yellow random fleck across the surface. The material is designed primarily for use in oil free conditions on automotive, industrial & rail brake systems. MAXISTOP AA material has an excellent operating performance range along with low noise and low rotor wear characteristics that exceed MAXISTOP's AE material and still minimises the black dust levels exhibited by organic material in this duty range. The material is available over the full range of disc pad references MAXISTOP can recommend the use of this material for light to heavier vehicles that tow trailers or caravans, and where the duty levels are higher than the light use of smaller vehicles.

MAXISTOP Taxi AD MAXISTOP AD is a material specifically designed for the Taxi industry. It is a high temperature rigid moulded friction material, dark grey in colour across the full surface. The material is designed for fleet vehicles used in heavy traffic conditions and city operations. MAXISTOP AD has a highly restricted range of references specific to the Taxi industry. MAXISTOP AD metal-matrix composition resist the adverse wear rates & fade condition generated in this type of usage, while still retaining the same rotor friendly wear and low dust characteristics that other MAXISTOP materials exhibit. MAXISTOP AD is a low coefficient of friction material requiring slightly higher pedal effort.

MAXISTOP Technic AE MAXISTOP AE is a rigid moulded friction material, dark grey in colour with a silver random fleck across the surface. The material is primarily designed for use in oil free conditions on automotive, industrial & rail brake systems. MAXISTOP AE material has a good operating performance range along with low dust, low noise and low rotor wear characteristics that minimise the unwanted black dusting effect often encountered with soft organic materials. The material is available over the majority of the disc pad reference range, however, MAXISTOP's specific recommendation is for use on small to medium sized vehicles or where light to moderate driving styles are employed. For heavier usage, MAXISTOP AA material should be used.

MAXISTOP Performance AP MAXISTOP AP is top of the range, heavy duty rigid moulded friction material, dark grey in colour with a copper random fleck across the surface. The material is designed primarily for use in oil free conditions on 4WD and heavier vehicles. MAXISTOP AP material has excellent stability in heavy duty operations.Due to the design nature of the material it has a limited supply range. While MAXISTOP limits the range available in this material, further items could become available following consideration of customer needs & compatibility to usage requirements.
